– ENGLISH VERSION –

– One day with my friend Majd, we go to my house after schoolwork to play music and spend an afternoon together. We began to jam and after I showed him a rythmic that I discover and that i worked. When, I began to play it, he continue by playing upside and this is just with this duo that we built this single. After few weeks, all the instrumental was ready bu the lyrics always was missing.
Through this music, we wanted to talked about nostalgia and homesickness. In fact, Majd was from Syria a and wanted to explain what we feel when we exit our country of birth and that we live in a new country when we know nobody and we talk very little the language. But our goal was not only to talk about sadness but also about union. That’s why we use 3 differents language : English because it’s the universal language, Arab to remember about the origin and the nostalgia and french to talk about present time and personnal upgrade.
Ali, a friend of Majd made the solo rap, Majd played the solo and rythmic guitar and me the rest. With this group, we try our best to create an musical bubble about this theme and I think our goal was reach ! This music will be reworked one day bexcause it deserve it : for the values that is diffuse.

Un jour avec mon ami Majd, on s’est retrouvé chez moi après les cours pour jouer un coup, passer une après-midi ensemble. On a commencé à faire un bœuf et puis je lui ai montré une rythmique que j’avais en tête et que j’étais en train de travailler. Majd, à l’écoute de cela à commencer à jouer par-dessus et c’est là que la machine s’est mis en marche. Au bout de quelques semaines, toute l’instrumentale était faite mais il nous manquait une chose, les paroles.

Grâce à ce morceau, on a voulu parler de nostalgie et de mal du pays. En effet, Majd lui vient de Syrie et il voulait exprimer le ressenti que l’on a quand on part de son pays et qu’on arrive vivre dans un pays où l’on ne connait personne et dont on parle très peu la langue. Mais notre objectif n’était pas juste de parler de ça, on voulait aussi parler d’union. Pour cela, on a utilisé 3 langues : l’anglais, la langue universelle, l’arabe pour rappeler les origines et la nostalgie et le français pour parler du moment présent et de l’évolution personnelle.

Ali, un ami de Majd s’est occupé du solo rappé, Majd de la guitare solo et rythmique, et moi du reste. Avec cette ensemble, on a essayé du mieux possible de créer une bulle musicale sur ce thème et je pense que notre objectif a été atteint. Ce morceau sera un jour retravaillé car il le mérite : pour les valeurs que ce morceau représente.
